Our founders started Whatnot to create a trusted space for like-minded people to buy, sell, and connect over the unique products they love – from trading cards, sports cards, and fashion, to video games, streetwear, and beyond.
But, listening to our customers isn’t just a business strategy. It’s who we are. We see ourselves in the community trading holographic Pokemon cards and diving into vintage jewelry because we are those collectors, too. Whatnot builds for the people buying, selling, and connecting over the unique products they love.

Our Interview Process
If you apply to work with us, here’s what to expect.
Resume Review
This is the first step in the hiring process. After we review your resume, we’ll reach out if it looks like you might be a great fit at Whanot.
Initial Screen
The next step in the process is speaking to someone on our team over the phone or via video call. We will learn more about your background and share more information on the role.
Skills Round
You’ll get to meet with additional members of the team during the first round of interviews. Depending on the role you are interviewing for, this could potentially include a technical / coding section.
Final Round
This is the final interview stage, including a Principles interview to ensure our values are aligned.
Offer letter
Congrats! You’ve made it this far. We will check your references and put together a formal offer letter.
